The flag carrier of South Korea, Korean Air began its journey in the aviation industry on March 1st, 1969 with only eight aircraft in its possession. The airline has its headquarters based out of Ganseo-gu in Seoul, while Gimpo International Airport and Incheon International Airport serve as the main hubs of the airline. With a fleet size of 157 aircraft, the air carrier flies passengers to 120 cities across 43 countries, including 13 domestic destinations and 107 international destinations in 42 countries. The airline takes pride in having transported 4,755 thousand international passengers and 6,211 thousand domestic passengers in 2022. Passengers flying with Korean Air get to choose from three travel cabins, namely Economy, Prestige, and First.
